![]() I've poured over all I can find from EAW, Rational Acoustics and Google and can't see where it tells me what signal to use. I know whatever I'm doing wrong is going to make me feel like an idiot but I just can't figure this out. When I try to do an impulse measurement though all I get is a constant noise level, no impulse, no trail, just solid noise. ![]() I have my mic plugged into channel 1 of my interface and channel 2 is being fed the reference signal that has gone through the board already (same signal going to the amps and speakers). I am trying to use SMAART as the signal generator, but I have an oscillator built into the console also. I have my laptop running SMAART (ver 6 and 7), interface, measurement mic and all the goodies. I'm trying to take a measurement of a room's acoustic properties, (just a rough reference) to see an A/B comparison with the addition of some drapery and acoustic treatment. Something about this is just not clicking with me.
